PRECISION MACHINING IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA
EMAIL US FOR A QUOTE ON YOUR PROJECT
Although we are capable of making a wide range of parts, we've found that there are certain customers, materials, sizes, features, quantities, and locations where we really do well. This translates to faster turnaround, lower pricing, and smoother transactions for you. We don't want just any customer, we want people we can partner with and excel in serving.
▶️ We work best with small to medium size B2B OEM's and startups based in Northern California.
▶️ We like visits and audits, and we also like to visit you to see the projects you have and understand exactly what is important to you.
▶️ Our company vision is to grow steadily and reliably by way of long term relationships, and so we prefer customers where there is open communication and collaboration with both engineering as well as purchasing.
▶️ We avoid large corporations, state or federal contracts, and defense contractors, with the exception of R&D divisions.
▶️ We do our best work with stainless and aluminum parts that range from 1" to 8" cube sizes. We do tooling plates, couplings, short run valve fittings, hubs, and small assemblies extremely well.
▶️ We work best with quantities of 30 to 500 part runs and this is where you will find our pricing sweet spot.
▶️ We keep specific machines dedicated to prototyping and low volume runs, quantities 1-29. Minimum orders of $500 for new customers, and priority of quick turnaround typically around a week.
▶️ In quantities of 600 to 2,000 piece runs, we begin to reserve specific machines and setups to you as a customer and organize blanket orders around you. Our QC process involves construction of tooling to efficiently ensure compliance, and we will customize inspection reports and other processes to comply with your organizations needs.
Most machinable materials, including Carbon, Stainless, and Tool Steels, Plastics, Aluminum alloys, Titanium, and Superalloys.

Inspection capabilities to +/- .0002"
Inspection Documentation Forms available on request.
Standard inspection practice is first part full inspection, followed by spot checking every 5th part on non-critical features (+/-. 005" or above), every critical dimension inspected on every part (below +/- .005").
Digital and manual inspection tooling, including full set micrometers, height gages, calipers, gage pins and thread gages. We also regularly order specific inspection tooling for those features not able to be measured by standard methods
Quality guaranteed to comply with manufacturing drawings. We can work with descriptions as well to make sure your prototype or repair part functions properly.
Our inspection instruments are kept up to date and calibrated to NIST traceability per ASME B89.1.9
At Covenant MFG, we stress transparency with you, and reliable relationships with other local and reputable manufacturers as extremely important. Because of this, over the years we have built up a network of manufacturing services other than milling. This means we offer a complete suite of manufacturing, guaranteeing every step of the manufacturing process.
These processes include:
Welding (Mig, Tig, Stick, and Brazing)
Laser & Plasma
Waterjet
Plating (including anodizing, painting, and other coating techniques)
Many new projects start out designed for function only, but in such a way that requires astronomical manufacturing costs. With knowledge of the industry and manufacturing abilities, we can help modify your design in order to keep quality and function, while dropping manufacturing costs. Sometimes this is as simple as a design change, while at other times we can suggest alternative manufacturing methods based on your required function, finish, quantity, or time frame.
